Do-It-Yourself Software Translation Control

TranslateYourSoftware has been developed specifically to support developers during the internationalization process. This software is created by experts in linguistics (200 languages), who are also developers of technology language solutions and have been translating software for two decades.

This SAAS supports you through prompt translation, message translation (errors, warnings, etc.), reports, GUI and UI text translation, voice prompt concatenation, and similar issues.

TranslateYourSoftware differs from other online software localization tools in two ways:

  • First, TranslateYourSoftware has been created to enable perfect localization of your system, not "hit and miss" like the automated translation varieties, and therefore encompasses the various stages from developer to translator and Quality Control

  • Second, TranslateYourSoftware is based upon the patented System Localizer, a solution that handles literally all of the major linguistic issues involved in software localization, including the most linguistically complex software to localize - audio products - with their heavy concatenated sentence creation on-the-fly, and need to handle differences between spoken language and written word. You may also download the System Localizer's localization library that can make the major localization decisions for your system. The library does not require access to the web or a hard disk to function.

Import and Export

TranslateYourSoftware can import your elements for translation either by using Excel-csv or by extracting the text for localization directly from your code. The text for translation will be saved in a private, secure database that is yours alone. The developers of this software work for many of the Fortune 500, and NDA's are welcome. Once translated, you will export your localized elements as Excel or as a localized version of your original code, or as a special file to feed the System Localizer's localization library. Web applications may also pick up their translations 'on the fly' when a visitor selects the language.

Translation Process

How you localize your software will be your choice. TranslateYourSoftware will clearly explain each option, from do-it-yourself with your own staff, to automated translation with improved results and Quality Control, to some of the finest professional software translators on the planet, available to you at a click of your mouse.

Translators can only see and edit their own language, and once the translation is approved for release, it cannot be modified without administrator permission. With proper passwords, customers can also participate in the translation, review and approval cycles. The translation is stored in private, secure database, inaccessible to any other user.

Variable Content

A particular strength of this software is the internationalization of text with variable content that will only be known at the instant your software is in use - like numbers, dates, times, people's names, account balances, items ordered, and more. Most especially, TranslateYourSoftware handles localization of audio applications, such as bank apps or IVR. Audio applications are 34% more difficult to localize because of the variation between the spoken and written word.
